Aircraft Spirals Out of Control into Palm Fronds at Popular Southern California Beach
An aircraft soaring above a popular coastal coastline suddenly commenced twirling wildly, finally descending rapidly and crashing into a line of palm groves as beachgoers observed.
Recordings uploaded on the internet depict the helicopter starting to spin above Huntington Beach then falling near the border of the shore, where it gets stuck between palms and a set of stairs close to the shoreline route.
First Aid Update
Local firefighters reported five people were taken to hospital comprising a pair who were in the chopper and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” after the incident on that day.
Three individuals on the road were injured. Specifics on their injuries were not immediately available.
What led to the incident was not immediately released.
