Two Men Formally Indicted for Jail Killing of Lostprophets Singer Ian Watkins
Two individuals now face murder charges in the wake of the jailhouse death of ex-Lostprophets frontman and convicted child sex offender Ian Watkins.
Rashid Gedel, 25, and Samuel Dodsworth, 43 now face murder accusations and are scheduled to appear in Leeds magistrates’ court on Monday morning, as stated by law enforcement officials.
Watkins, forty-eight, was in the midst of a 29-year prison term at HMP Wakefield, alongside six more years under supervision, after admitting a string of sex offences among them the effort to sexually assault an infant.
Watkins was arrested after the execution of a drugs warrant at his Pontypridd home on 21 September 2012, when a large number of computers, mobile phones and storage devices were taken as evidence.
